Disputes over the meaning and practice of sexuality have become increasingly central to cultural self-definition. Wendy Gay Pearson is assistant professor of English and film studies at Wilfrid Laurier University. Veronica Hollinger is associate professor of cultural studies at Trent University. Joan Gordon is associate professor of English at Nassau Community College.
