Author Biography

Noel Currer-Briggs is a professional genealogist specializing in early colonial history. He is a former Chairman of the Association of Genealogists and Record Agents and a Fellow of the Society of Genealogists. A consultant to Debrett’s Ancestry Research Ltd and to Burke’s Peerage Research Ltd, he is perhaps best known as an author. Royston Gambier was the former Treasurer and Chairman of the Federation of Family History Societies. He was one of its three original founders as well as the principal founder of nine individual family history societies, and a Fellow of the Society of Genealogists and of the Huguenot Society in London.
