Author Biography

KRISTYN CROW is the author of the Zombelina picture book series, with art by Caldecott Honor illustrator Molly Idle. She loves to use rhythm, rhyme, and repetition to make reading snappy and fun. Her first book, Cool Daddy Rat, received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly and School Library Journal and was named a 2008 Blue Ribbon Book by the Bulletin of the Center for Children's Books. Other books include Hello, Hippo! Goodnight, Bird!, Skeleton Cat, and Bedtime at the Swamp. Kristyn enjoys visiting schools, where she teaches rhythm in verse with a variety of percussion instruments to help improve reading skills.
